Four Weddings and a Thirtieth

~ SHAKING OFF THE STIGMA BEHIND OUTFIT REPEATING, ONE WEDDING AT A TIME ~

I wrote about outfit-repeating for Peppermint Magazine.

In the name of slow fashion, I wore the same Jacquemus skirt to every social event on my 2019 and 2020 calendar (until, of course, COVID), styling it with items already in my wardrobe.

This got me thinking about the stigma behind outfit repeating. It turns out, for a seemingly superficial subject, its roots run deeper than you might expect — from sexism to consumerism to The Simpsons.
